The transdisciplinary themes provide a framework for our school’s program of inquiry. These areas encompass a body of knowledge that will further our goal to foster international students. Teachers on each grade level create units of inquiry within each theme. Grades kindergarten through five created and implement six units for each theme, whereas pre-kindergarten created and implement units for four of the themes. One of the fifth grade themes will be taught throughout most of the year as their exhibition unit. The exhibition is a PYP culminating activity in which the students take responsibility for their learning and engage in an inquiry that is collaborative in nature and deals with authentic issues and possible solutions. The units of inquiry within each theme should be significant, relevant, engaging, and challenging.

Los temas transdisciplinary proporcionan un marco para el programa de nuestra escuela de la investigación. Estas áreas abarcan un cuerpo del conocimiento que fomente nuestra meta para fomentar a estudiantes internacionales. Los profesores en cada nivel del grado crean unidades de la investigación dentro de cada tema. El jardín de la infancia de los grados con cinco creados y pone seis unidades en ejecucio'n para cada tema, mientras que pre-jardi'n de la infancia creado y las unidades del instrumento para cuatro de los temas. Uno de los quinto temas del grado será enseñado a través de la mayoría del año como su unidad de la exposición. La exposición es una actividad que culmina de PYP en la cual los estudiantes toman la responsabilidad de su aprender y engancha a una investigación que sea de colaboración en naturaleza y se ocupe de las ediciones auténticas y de las soluciones posibles. Las unidades de la investigación dentro de cada tema deben ser significativas, relevantes, enganchando, y desafiador.
